Thanksgiving

The start of the holiday season is here.I am thankful for alot of things. My family,my kids, and the fact that I am here today.I am thankful for my friends that are by my side no matter what and the friendship we have together.I am so glad that I have had the chance to meet and work with some wonderful companies and people this year.
I am a bit sad that I am not "home" to be with Mom and Dad and family again this year.
I am how ever very excited to go pick up my perfect tree and get everything moved in the store.

Not Me Monday

Welcome to Not Me! Monday! This blog carnival was created by MckMama. You can head over to her blog to read what she and everyone else have not been doing this week.
So here we are again..another week and more not me's.
I did not make sandwhiches for my family for dinner most of last week..Nope not me because I love to cook and make healthy food every night.
I did not write 2 emails about some items I donated for a give away being told I would be recognized since it was a business, since everyone else is recognized.. that would be so not nice and I am always nice.
I am sure I will more next week since we are moving the store this week
If you want to join this circus come on and post

Should I be annoyed?

Ok so here is a friday question for ya.
Lets say you donated something for a give away and you were told you needed to send 2 items..one for the giveway and one for the person doing said giveaway.I was told this would link back to me as I have a biz...but it was not.Nor was I told when the items were recieved. They were sent to a main address then shipped to the person.I mean I would have at least emailed and said Hey I got these and what ever but alas I got nothing...
So my question is do you let people know when you get a package ?

Men Jokes

My friends have been posting these so I took the to share :)
Missing Spouse

Recently, a distraught wife went to the local police station,
along with her next-door neighbor, to report that her husband
was missing.

The policeman asked for a description of the missing man.
The wife said, "He is 35 years old, 6-foot 4-inches, has dark eyes,
dark wavy hair, an athletic build, weighs 185 pounds,
is soft-spoken, and is good to the children."

The next-door neighbor protested,
"Your husband is 5-foot 8-inches, chubby, has a big mouth,
and is mean to your children."
The wife replied, "Yes, but who wants HIM back?"

A guy going through a mid-life crisis buys a lamborghini. He takes it to LA for vacation. He's driving on the interstate one night, and there's noone around, so he thinks to himself . . "let's see what this baby can DO!" and starts to accelerate. One hundred MPH . . two hundred MPH . . and then he sees a cop in the distance with his lights on.

At first, he just pushes a little harder on the accelerator . . he can outrun that cop, no problem! But then his conscience kicks in, and he pulls over.

After waiting about ten minutes for the poor cop to catch up to him, the cop gets out of his car and walks to the guy's window.

Cop says, "Sir, my shift is over in ten minutes, and I hate doing paperwork. If you can give me an excuse for your excessive speed that I've never heard before, you're free to go."

The guy thinks for a minute.

He then replies with, "Ten years ago, my wife ran off with a cop from CA. I thought you were trying to bring her back!"

The cop tips his hat and says, "You're free to go, sir."

Thinking of having kids??

A friend online posted this so I thought I would share :)

Thinking of Having Kids?

Do this 11 step program first!

Lesson 1
1. Go to the grocery store.
2. Arrange to have your salary paid directly to their head office.
3. Go home.
4. Pick up the paper.
5. Read it for the last time

Lesson 2
Before you finally go ahead and have children, find a couple who already
are parents and berate them about their...
1. Methods of discipline.
2. Lack of patience.
3. Appallingly low tolerance.
4. Allowing their children to run wild.
5. Suggest ways in which they might improve their child's breastfeeding,
sleep habits, toilet training, table manners, and overall behavior.
Enjoy it because it will be the last time in your life you will have all
the answers.

Lesson 3
A really good way to discover how the nights might feel...
1. Get home from work and immediately begin walking around the living
room from 5PM to 10PM carrying a wet bag weighing approximately 8-12
pounds, with a radio turned to static (or some other obnoxious sound)
playing loudly. (Eat cold food with one hand for dinner)
2. At 10PM, put the bag gently down, set the alarm for midnight, and go to
sleep.
3. Get up at 12 and walk around the living room again, with the bag,
until 1AM.
4. Set the alarm for 3AM.
5. As you can't get back to sleep, get up at 2AM and make a drink and
watch an infomercial.
6. Go to bed at 2:45AM.
7. Get up at 3AM when the alarm goes off.
8. Sing songs quietly in the dark until 4AM.
9. Get up. Make breakfast. Get ready for work and go to work (work hard
and be productive)
Repeat steps 1-9 each night. Keep this up for 3-5 years. Look cheerful
and together.

Lesson 4
Can you stand the mess children make? To find out...
1. Smear peanut butter onto the sofa and jam onto the curtains.
2. Hide a piece of raw chicken behind the stereo and leave it there all
summer.
3. Stick your fingers in the flower bed.
4. Then rub them on the clean walls.
5. Take your favorite book, photo album, etc. Wreck it.
6. Spill milk on your new pillows. Cover the stains with crayons. How does
that look?

Lesson 5
Dressing small children is not as easy as it seems.
1. Buy an octopus and a small bag made out of loose mesh.
2. Attempt to put the octopus into the bag so that none of the arms hang
out. Time allowed for this - all morning.

Lesson 6
Forget the BMW and buy a mini-van And don't think that you can leave it
out in the driveway spotless and shining. Family cars don't look like
that.
1. Buy a chocolate ice cream cone and put it in the glove compartment.
Leave it there.
2. Get a dime. Stick it in the CD player.
3. Take a family size package of chocolate cookies. Mash them into the
back seat. Sprinkle cheerios all over the floor, then smash them with
your foot.
4. Run a garden rake along both sides of the car.

Lesson 7
Go to the local grocery store. Take with you the closest thing you can
find to a pre-school child. (A full-grown goat is an excellent choice). If
you intend to have more than one child, then definitely take more than one
goat. Buy your week's groceries without letting the goats out of your
sight. Pay for everything the goat eats or destroys. Until you can easily
accomplish this, do not even contemplate having children.

Lesson 8
1. Hollow out a melon.
2. Make a small hole in the side.
3. Suspend it from the ceiling and swing it from side to side.
4. Now get a bowl of soggy Cheerios and attempt to spoon them into the
swaying melon by pretending to be an airplane.
5. Continue until half the Cheerios are gone.
6. Tip half into your lap. The other half, just throw up in the air.
You are now ready to feed a nine month-old baby.

Lesson 9
Learn the names of every character from Sesame Street , Barney, Disney,
the Teletubbies, and Pokemon. Watch nothing else on TV but PBS, the Disney
channel or Noggin for at least five years. (I know, you're thinking
What's 'Noggin'?) Exactly the point. =

Lesson 10 - 20
Make a recording of Fran Drescher saying 'mommy' repeatedly.= (Important:
no more than a four second delay between each 'mommy';
occasional crescendo to the level of a supersonic jet is required). Play
this tape in your car everywhere you go for the next four years. You are
now ready to take a long trip with a toddler.

Lesson 11
Start talking to an adult of your choice. Have someone else continually
tug on your skirt hem, shirt- sleeve, or elbow while playing the 'mommy'
tape made from Lesson 10 above. You are now ready to have a conversation
with an adult while there is a child in the room.

4 years ago today

I was pregnant..due may 2006.I went in for a regular appointment and the midwife did a scan.It was not clear and she could not get a good pic so she moved me.Got a better machine and another midiwfe. They said the baby was sleeping and to come back.My gut told me different.I went home and emailed my OBGYN and he had me come in friday/the next day.
He told me the baby was gone :( and the young new midwife/s didnt know how to tell me.What follows is hell.I was told to go home and see if my body would do anything. It did NOT.I went in monday and was given some pills.I was told to start some tuesday am and the rest wednesday(23)..so I did.I was at peace with what was happening so I went on..a little sad but went on.Wednesday I did was I was supposed to.I passed my sweet angel baby and am glad I was at home. The rest is a hazy mess.We went to get a xmas tree and passed out.I passed out several more times and finally agreed something more was wrong. The ambulance came,my blood pressure dropped so much I was code 3 to ER feet up etc.I saw things and was scared and said good bye.I was hemorrhaging.I was so freaking scared. They told me I would never have another child.I lost our baby and it hurt so bad.We gained my older daughter in june 2006 and Stinky in 2008.
..more to come

It is a brand new week

I have been slacking again :/ but here is the lowdown

A little scared

Well thats the understatement of the year.I am very scared/worried etc about tomorrow.I found out way back when I was pregnant with Makayla that my hips were bad...as in need replacing.
I am going to the orthopedist in the morning to see what joint he wants to replace first.
The hip or the knee.
I also have tachycardia with more tests coming soon to figure out why.For now juts beta blockers.
Put those together with the fact that my Lupus is acting up and yea I am scared. All of this mess is from RA( rheumatoid arthritis).I hate it and I hate what it does to the body.

Playing with perler / pearls

Work in progress

This what we have to make it of

Lilgeek and I are working.

Another week

is gone.Where are they going and why so fast.Christmas stuff is everywhere. In the stores,on the radio and in the newspaper ads.
It is that time of year I guess.
On another note and huge ice chest arrived via a delivery service like UPS...and guess what was in it!!!!
ice?? nope
food?? nope
Medicine ???? Yes!!!My meds arrived and I am so happy.
It was full of cold packs and 4 months worth of shots.Mack was very impressed with it.
I ma just glad to be getting them again and start feeling better. The only down side is they sent 25mg instead of 50mg so I get 2 shots a week instead of one.Oh well I am used to sore thighs allready.
I was dx with Tachycardia and will continue on beta blockers.Even though it bothers me and is sometimes painfull they dont feel like it is life threating at this time.
